Catch Me If You Can

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

"Survival beneath the surface is often a matter of seconds.

In Catch Me If You Can, a tarpon has found its next meal, but finding it and catching it are two very different things. The shrimp scatter in different directions, each responding instinctively to the danger moving toward them.

I wanted to capture the moment before we know the outcome. Will the tarpon succeed, or will the shrimp escape? It is a chase repeated countless times beneath the surface—predator and prey, hunger and instinct, each simply trying to survive.

Catch Me If You Can leaves us exactly where nature often does: in the middle of the story."
